The Youth Kairos (formerly known as Student World Mission Course) began in the Philippines 12 years ago at Living Springs International in Butuan city. It was developed after the Kairos course (then known as Condensed World Mission Course) which began in 1994 in the Philippines.
The Youth Kairos allows young people to discover in eight lessons the basis, history, focus and challenge of world missions.
For the last 12 years, more than 2,000 young people from different parts of the Philippines have gone through the Youth Kairos. As a result, these young people (mostly high school and college/university students) have been mobilized and have gone on to be involved in the formation of youth-led mission prayer groups, mission-sending cells, people-group advocacy programs, city-wide mission partnerships and the engagements of least-reached peoples.
